Kimiii

This past week, I was at the Sprint store doing something with my contract.  The girl that was helping me out was an interesting character.  She was telling me how she didn’t like math.  I chimed in and said I was wasn’t too hot with it either.  Then, she got really comfortable with me and was telling me how good she was at cheating in high school for math class.  That’s when I stopped talking about math.  She totally veered the opposite way from what we were talking about.  She seemed so proud to talk about her cheating.  Since when was cheating something to be proud about?

And Sprint…make sure to advise your workers not to talk about their shortcomings and how they cut corners.  I am less than interested and also Sprint, it devalues your name :P

Today, I drove back to Georgetown in one piece!  Lol, I always do.  I did have one scary moment though.  I was driving 80 mph on a 70 and right behind me (from out of nowhere) was a state trooper.  I knew I was done for =(  I went ahead and moved to the right lane to see what he does.  He immediately swoops past me and sped on ahead.  Phew!  Near death lol.

When I arrived in Georgetown, I went to check on my baby kitty.  He was sooooo happy to see me.  He’s now grooming and looking very cute on my bed :)  He loves the new throw that I got.  It’s extremely soft and comfy.  Chewie is curled up in it and he looks sooo cute.  I love my cat.  Man, I don’t understand when people say cats are mean and selfish.  Chewie is anything but that.  He gives me 10x what I give him.  He gives me infinite love :3

I was glad to see Richie today.  He was very happy to see me too.  After we exchanged a few words, we went to hang out at John’s place, where him and Richie were practicing for Amy’s gig.  They were so good!

We then went to Chili’s and afterwards, watchedResident Evil 5.  It was scary in some parts, but towards the end, it was hilarious!!!  Me and the boys couldn’t stop laughing.  You should see it.  It will make you laugh too.  Some dialogue was stupid as well and made me laugh.  Some parts of the movie was a bit awkward just because of the dumb dialogue.

I can’t stand it when I know that a friend is mine is repeatedly verbally abused by her boyfriend.  No, she doesn’t need to tell me about it.  Those around her can hear it through the walls.  It’s so bad that it happens in public.  Can she not see how dangerous this can be?  Verbal abuse can escalate to physical abuse.  I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s already reached the point of physical abuse.

Richie is really good to me.  He has never called me names or cursed at me before.  For that, I am lucky.  I am lucky that he respects me enough to never call me names.

Ladies, be strong and stand up to your man.  Don’t ever let him talk down on you because the moment he starts doing that, he loses respect for you.  Stand up for yourself.  If it gets out of hand and you find yourself crying and being distressed from it, remember that life is all about being happy.  Get out of the relationship.  He’s going to tell you “Sorry, I promise I won’t do it again” but after he breaks that promise and curses at you again, he’s nothing but a scumbag and doesn’t deserve you.  Don’t let him use you as a scapegoat for his problems.  

I love the rain.  I’m so glad that the earth is getting some water to cool down.  I’m home right now, visiting my parents.  It’s kind of weird that I’m taking PTO tomorrow while all my co-workers are at work, but that’s ok.  It’s my chance to take a break!

I haven’t spoken to my friend ever since he got fired.  I’m just too disappointed in him to say anything.  Although Richie is really disappointed too, he still talks to him, which is fine.  I’ll let him deal with him.

OMG so annoyed.  Someone is using my dad’s Netflix account and we end up not being able to watch anything -_- I think this means I should make an account of my own now.

I played with my ukulele today and it was a lot of fun.  It’s a good thing I played piano before because counting the beats is a lot easier on the ukulele.  I’m just trying to understand how to strum and sing at the same time.  It’s actually a lot harder than I thought.  I think every instruments has its difficulties.

Today I was told that I’ll be going back to Wisconsin in November for more programming training.  WOW freakin’ excited.  I just want to travel!

I’m currently watching Battlestar Galactica.  It’s actually extremely good.  I come home just to watch it, hahaha!

Andrea, my co worker, is extremely annoying.  It seems like she doesn’t do anything at work.  We have two screens for our computer at work.  On one screen, she has her work stuff and on another screen, it’s ESPN or something.  I look back over there two hours later and the work screen hasn’t changed AT ALL.  Lol, seems like she puts the work screen there to make it seem like she’s working.  What a horrible person.  Extremely annoying.  She’s an attention whore too and it’s really obvious.  Me and John have had a field day watching her and her stupid self :)  I sound very mean, I know, but I can only tolerate so much!

I’m buying my ukulele later this week and I’m so excited to start playing it.  It’s a concert ukulele and it’s extremely cute.  I’m going to ask Amy to see if she can help me start off with the strumming or…I can just practice a lot and learn on my own.  I found a ukulele teacher at the guitar store I was at.  She seems really nice but charges a lot! $85/month!  I don’t think I am interested!

Hmm that’s odd.  My friend and I talk regularly on a daily basis but he hasn’t been talkative today.  Oh well, that’s ok…

I feel like my friend is being trolled SO badly right now.  Something happened and the sad thing is, they only know one side of it.  I know both sides of it but I choose not to say anything.  It’s not my place, obviously, but I just feel so badly for my friend simply because they only know one side of the story.

It’s just one of those things where there’s nothing I can do but sit back and watch the show unfold (or should I say “disaster” unfold).

The weather has been PERFECT lately.  The wind chill has been a lot cooler and the weather itself is amazing :)  Finally, FALL IS HERE.

I think I may have over-stepped some boundaries with a friend yesterday when I was talking about another friend to him.  Oh well, that’s just how I am.  They can take it or leave it :)

My counterparts from WI are here.  I have this weird mentality where if I don’t feel like I can get anything out of a person (or if it’s not going to benefit me somehow), I decide not to delve too much into their lives.  If I like a person and I enjoy talking to them, I’m all in.  But for my counterparts, I’m cool just keeping them as co-workers.  I know of some people that try really hard to delve into everyone’s lives.  First of all, that’s just TOO much work and too much to handle.  In a way, I’m a cat.  I only associate with people I like WHEN I like.  Hehee.

At work again.  This week, college is starting!  I can only imagine the excitement that must be coming from the incoming freshmen.  I am excited for them because I really believe that college is a life-changing experience.  

At work right now.  Instead of goofing off like those who don’t have much to do for the time being, I think I will write.

Earlier in the day, I started to feel really stressed with all I had to do for Device Integration.  Also, the middlewear aspect isn’t up to speed so I’m weary that I will get my build in on time.

My friend KC invited Richie and I out to eat at an Indian restaurant called Teji’s.  I’m not sure how good it will be but I look forward to it.
